Loved the company and the roles each person played. The job was new every day, allowed growth inside the company, monthly commission opportunities, and room for growth. Starting bacon wasn't the highest, only the bonuses available make information technology highly competitive and a bang-up place to grow. Getting to know the clients and helping them on their journey to find love is SUPER rewarding.

"Matchmaking" was a joke, we basically just paired everyone who was effectually the same age together. The work was too stressful and personal to just be paid minimum wage. Not sure how sustainable a matchmaking service is now that everyone just uses dating apps.

I met some really great people and friends here. I truly loved this company and what they said they stood for.. but quickly realized it was a lie.

I wanted to love this job then much, merely when I truly opened my eyes to what was happening, I knew I had to go out. They treat you like a queen when you lot are hitting sales goals. Make yous feel on pinnacle of the world! You are their "rock star"… just as before long as you first struggling they critique everything you do! And don't you dare mutter about the leads, those are "little gifts from heaven" … ALL THEY CARE Almost IS MONEY!!! I have seen SO MANY directors bring in THOUSANDs/MILLIONS in for IJL, for them to still exist treated like trash. Be prepared to piece of work every weekend if you aren't close to your goal. And if you don't, they will threaten to take leads abroad from you! Days off, forget about it! My therapist called IJL a CULT and made me realize how much IJL was damaging my mental and emotional health. That is something I'm all the same dealing with every solar day. Yous are consistently compared to other directors even in much larger markets. They say "live your very best life" and feed you lot that BS all day long, don't fall for information technology. They do not value you! I promise. The turn over is nuts, I was in a very modest office (4-v employees at virtually), I saw fifteen employees come and go! Some really swell sales people as well. In the interview process they will tell yous, you volition make $100k+++, you become all kinds of leads and its not cold calling! HA! You will be lucky if you become 1 decent new lead a day in the smaller offices. But await to make hundreds of COLD CALLS from old leads that accept been called 20/30++ times. Literally harassing people. IJL's fashion of leadership is GASLIGHTING yous, FEAR, and making yous experience GUILTY. They will punch y'all down every single day to get the outcome they want.
