ASUS Launches Its RTX 30 Series GPUs with Lite Hash Rate

ASUS has added new models to its RTX thirty serial lineup; all of these models offer a feature called LHR, or Lite Hash Rate. This characteristic is designed to make these GPUs less desirable for cryptocurrency miners, hopefully landing more of these GPUs into the hands of gamers. ASUS added six LHR models ranging from dissimilar GPU serial similar ASUS'south DUAL, TUF, KO, and TURBO GPU series.

ASUS added six new RTX 30 series graphics cards, and these cards follow NVIDIA'southward guidelines for its LHR variants

ASUS has followed NVIDI'south guidelines every bit perfectly as possible, as they have not just added the LHR tag to the product folio, but they as well added information technology to the packaging.

As well the branding and the improver of the LHR, none of the technical specs have changed as each card still features the same number of cores, TMUs, ROPs, and clock speeds ( Boost and Base of operations). This ways that while these cards may characteristic a lowered hash rate compared to the original cards, they should still feature the same performance in-game!

In addition to the technical specs, also the LHR characteristic, the overall design of each carte du jour has remained the same. This ways that getting an LHR variant should look no unlike when compared to the original version of the card. Making them more desirable for gamers who have had a tough fourth dimension upgrading or building their PC during the GPU shortage.

These cards were created due to the current GPU shortage, partly due to the rise in cryptocurrency miners taking many GPUs. This shortage has frustrated many gamers as they have either been unable to update their electric current PC or end building their previous PC.

At the time of writing, ASUS has added 6 total models, including the ASUS RTX 3070 LHR viii GB DUAL OC V2, ASUS RTX 3070 LHR 8 GB KO V2 OC, and ASUS RTX 3070 LHR eight GB TUF X2 OC graphics cards. Sadly both the RTX 3080 LHR and the RTX 3060 Ti LHR aren't listed, although many expect them to be announced within a few days.
